A gift for you

Hiya!!

I was going through all the photos on my laptop trying to organize them and came across a card I had not yet shared on my blog.

Last fall I participated in a secret sister exchange and I made this card to send to my secret sister.

I used a frame from Gina K's Lovely Labels 2 stamp set to create the focal image for the card. I cut the frame out using spellbinders Labels 16 and layered it on top of a couple of scalloped squares.

The pattern papers are Black Markets Let it Bloom and I paired them up with SU's Baja Breeze, Gina K's Tan Leather and Wine with Everything. I embellished the card with prima flower with button centers.
Enjoy the rest of your day and thank you so much for stopping by!!!

Card Supplies:

Ink: Lilac Posies, Versamark

Lots of green

Hi!

I am a bit stiff and sore today. A couple of friends and I got together yesterday for our annual bowling tournament for work. We have a ton of fun!
This is probably the only time each year I bowl! lol! I am a terrible bowler! lol! We bring our significant others along with us and like usual my DH ends up bowling for me! Good thing to because my score doesn't look so bad when he bowls *wink*

Anywho, I realized that I had not shared this card with you here on my blog.

I made it early in the month for a challenge on Stamp TV. The challenge was to use 1 new thing on your project. My new thing is the lace. I found it at my local Hobby Lobby store.
I used Gina K's Lovely Labels 2 with a sentiment from the Inspiration Mosiac stamp set for the main focal image on the card. This is my favorite sentiment in the set!

The pattern paper is scraps of Little Yellow Bicycle I had in my scrap drawer. The rest of the papers is Gina K's Pure Luxury Ivory and SU's Wild Wasabi.
Can you see the bit of Wild Wasabi that is embossed behind the label? I used Cuttlebug's Fleur De Lis embossing folder to match the pattern on the dp.

Enjoy the rest of your day!!

Tonight the Gina K CSS Alumni gals are hosting a sketch hop for you!!
If you came from Peggy Wainman's blog, you are right on track. If not, please go to Stamp TV to start at the beginning so you do not miss the fabulous eye candy the gals have created for you!

Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (February 1st), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs who will get a stamp set of their choice valued up to $24.95. Good luck!!
Tonight we created a project based on a sketch that our very own Melissa Cash designed for us.

This is the sketch...
And here is my take on the sketch. I added a bit more to the sketch, as I usually do, but you can still see the basic sketch in my card. I know I am a rebel!! lol!
I used 3 different Gina K stamps sets on my card. The sentiment is from the stamp set Picture it and is stamped inside a label from the Lovely Labels 2 set. The butterfly is from the Hope is Faith set.
The butterfly is colored with Koh-i-Noor pencils and OMS. I added a bit of sparkle to the wings using my glitter pen and a waterbrush.
The pattern paper is Webster's Page - Hollywood Vogue & Waterfall pack. The cs is Gina K's Ivory and Chocolate Brown pure luxury papers.
The next stop on the hop is to the uber talented Tera Fujan.
Thank you so much for hopping with us!

For this hop we were challenged to create a card based on the sketch below that our fellow CSS member Melissa Cash designed.
I decided to jump ahead a couple months and create a Valentine's cards with this sketch. I also turned the sketch into a 5x5 card.
Stamps: Gina K
Paper: Gina K, Basic Grey, Copic X-press It
Ink: Memento, Copic
Other: Spellbinders Labels 15 & Hearts, Corner Round Punch

I used 3 different stamps sets for my card, Fairy Tales, Lovely Labels 2 and Sung From the Heart. The cardstock is Gina's Pure Luxury Red Hot, Smokey Slate, White and Bubblegum Pink. The pattern paper is Basic Grey's Sugar Rush.

The heart with wings was colored with copics, R35, R37, R39/E70, E71, E74.

The next stop on the hop is to the fabulous Tera Fujan.

Thank you so much for hopping by!!

CSS Alumni blog hop

Hiya Stampers!

Welcome to another Stamp TV CSS Alumni blog hop. If you came from Miesje's blog you are right on track (wasn't her project fabulous?!). If not, please go to Stamp TV and start at the beginning. I don't want you to miss any of these fabulous projects the gals are sharing tonight!

Carolina gave us a color challenged for this hop. The colors we were to use are white or ivory, light blue, yellow and brown. I have been trying to start on my Christmas cards so I was bound and determined to make a Christmas card using these colors. I think I succeeded! What do you think?
I am submitting this card for a couple of challenges, Paper Pretties which was to use embossing and No Time to Stamp which was to use non-traditional Christmas colors.

Stamps: Gina K
Paper: Gina K
Ink: Memento, SU, Versamark
Other: Spellbinders Labels 16, Lace,
Prima, Cuttlebug Allegro EF, Clear EP, Branch Punch
I used all Gina K Pure Luxury Papers, Ivory, Tan Leather, Sweet Corn and Little Boy Blue. The stamps are Lovely Labels 2, Vintage Borders and the sentiment is from First Christmas.

I stamped both the label and border with versamark then with Desert Sand before stamping them on the paper. I heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I did the same for the sentiment using the blue ink. I like doing this when I use softer ink colors because it make the colors more vibrant.

Originally I did not have the flower on the card but after looking at it for a bit I decided it needed a bit more yellow so I add the prima flower with a bit of lace and branches behind it.

Your next stop on the hop is Tera's blog. You're gonna love what she has to share with us tonight!

After you finish the hop, please join us back at Stamp TV.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!!

Woot Woot!! It's Friday!!

Hello Stampers!!

I am so happy it's finally Friday!!! It has been a long week at work, let me tell ya!

Tonight my Hubby and I are having a date night which is another reason I am happy gal today *smile*. I am not sure what we will be doing but I am sure it will be fabulous!

Today I am sharing a card I made for a couple of challenges, CPS and Paper Pretties. You can see the sketch for this weeks CPS challenge here. The Paper Pretties challenge for this week was to use the colors black and white with one other color. You can get all the details on the Paper Pretties Challenge here.

Stamps: Fanciful Fall, Lovely Labels 2, Labeled with Love
Ink: SU, Versamark, Copics
Paper: SU
Other: Embossing Folders, Spellbinders/Nestibilities,
Stickles, Ribbon, Clear Embossing Powder
I used a few Gina K stamps on this card. The flowers are from Fanciful Fall, the label is from Lovely Labels 2 and the sentiment is from Labeled with Love. The white panel was embossed with the Script Texture embossing folder and the pink oval was embossed with the Victoria embossing folder.
The flowers were colored with copics RV14, RV21, RV23, RV25 and covered in stickles to give them some sparkle.
The all the paper is SU - basic black, pixie pink, and white.

I hope the work day flies by today...I can't wait for my weekend to start, how about you?
Have a fabulous day and thanks for visiting!!
