The CSS girls are doing an inspiration hop base on this picture that Carolina selected for us.
Don't those cupcakes look yummie!
If you came from Shannon blog, you are right on track. If not, please go back to Stamp TV and start at the beginning. I don't want you to miss any of the fabulous eye candy the girls are sharing tonight!
I used some of the colors in the picture to base my cards on tonight. My first card uses the colors pink and brown.
Stamps: You Are Not Alone
Paper: SU, Gina K - White PL, Basic Grey - Indian Summer
Ink: Memento's Markers - Rich Cocoa, Rose Bud, Cantaloupe,
and Bamboo Leaves
Other: Circle Nestibilities, Swiss Dots EF, Brads
I used the stamp set 'You Are Not Alone' for both the focal image and sentiment. I used Memento's Markers and colored directly on the stamp before stamping the image on Gina K's White PL paper.
My second card uses the colors yellow, pink and green.
Stamps: Spring Florals
Paper: Gina K Pure Luxury CS - Lemon Drop, Bubble Gum,
Grass Green, Copic X-Press It, Basic Grey - Sultry
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black, Rose Bud, Copics
Other: MS border and corner punches, Circle and Oval
Nestibilities, Stickles
The image is from the Spring Florals stamp set and was colored with copics YG07, YG17, RV02, RV04, RV09, C00, and C0. I added a bit of sparkle to the flower petals using stickles.
The flower image and the sentiment, which is also from Spring Florals, were cut out using Oval nestibilities.
I took a piece of grass green paper and cut out a circle using a nestibility circle die then used the corner punch to punch out the border around the circle. I tucked another circle I cut out of the pattern paper under the little tabs of the border. I used the matching border punch for the strip of striped pattern paper. The pattern paper is from Basic Grey's Sultry pack.
Thank you so much for hopping with us tonight!! Please be sure to stop back at Stamp TV and join us in the blog hop discussion forum.
