Last week I shared this card that I made for the My Favorite Things challenge....well my name was drawn as the winner! Woo Hoo! I got a gift certificate for My Favorite Things and I can not wait to go spend it!
My card today is for this week's My Favorite Things challenge. The challenge is to create a scene card. Since the weather has been on the cooler side I decided I would created a winter scene.
Stamps: MFT - Pure Innocence Merry Kissmas
Ink: Memento's, Copics
Paper: Gina K - Ivory, Smokey Slate, SU Blue Bayou,
Copic X-Press It, Basic Grey - Jovial
Other: EK Border Punch, Cuttlebug EF, Liquid Applique,
Crystal Lacquer, Glitter, Glaze Pen, Spellbinders,
Die-namic Tree Die
To create the scene I used the Labels 16 die to cut out a piece of ivory paper and embossed it with the snowflake embossing folder. I cut out the tree using the Die-namic tree die and after attaching it to the label I added white liquid applique to the branches, sprinkled glitter over it then heated it to make it puffy. The waves of snow are just a scalloped border punch that I also added liquid applique and glitter to. I tucked the image in the waves of snow against the label then added little red puff ball to her hat and crystal lacquer to her boot.
The pattern paper is Basic Grey's Jovial and the other papers are Gina K and SU.
Thank you so much for visiting me today and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!
