CSS Alumni Challenge hop

Welcome to another CSS Alumni DT hop!!

If you came from Melissa's blog then you are in the right place. If not, please go back to Stamp TV and start at the beginning so you don't miss any of the fabulous projects the CSS Alumni Gals are sharing tonight!

For tonight's hop we were challenged to create a card that contains only the following items and no others:
  • One Neutral color for your card base: White, Ivory, Black, Brown or Kraft
  • Two different colors of card stock
  • One patterned paper
  • Three buttons
  • One color of ribbon
  • As little or as many images as you'd like
This was a hard challenge for me! I'm not used to being told what I can and can not used to make cards *wink*.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Hang in There, Spring has Sprung
Ink: SU - Certainly Celery, Memento - Tuxedo Black, Copics - yg00, yg21, yg23, yg25, yg93, g99, g94, g34, e35. e37
Paper: Gina K - White and Smokey Slate PL, SU - Certainly Celery and Pattern Paper, K&Co - Poppyseed
Other: Ribbon, buttons

I used the frog and leaf branch images from 'Hang in There' stamp set and sentiment is from 'Spring has Spring' stamp set. My two colors for cardstock are green and smokey slate with white as my neutral color.
The frog image was colored with copics. As I was coloring the little guy, my daughter told me he was starting to look a little to green and maybe I should stop soon. LOL! When the card was finished she did tell me she liked it so I must have stopped at the right green. *smile*.

Thank you for hopping by!  Your next stop on the hop is the very talented Tina.
