Hi!
Tonight is the first Gina K CSS Alumni blog hop for September! If you came from Peggy's wonderful blog you are in the right spot! If you are just visiting or happened by, I encourage you to start at the beginning of the hop right here to see all the fabulous creations the gals are sharing tonight.
I will keep my post short and sweet so you can keep moving along :)
Tonight we all created projects using this photo from Pier 1 Imports for inspiration.
The first thing I noticed about the photo was the colors and the diamond pattern on the quilt and the headboard.
My first card uses the diamond pattern and the colors Ocean Blue, White and Kraft Pure Luxury Papers.
The flowers and sentiment are from Gina's Enjoy the Sunshine stamp set. I stamps the flower and sentiment on Gina's Kraft paper with white ink. I added a bit of shading under the flowers with my white prisma pencil. I paired the kraft paper up with Gina's Ocean Mist.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: GKD - Enjoy the Sunshine
Ink: PTI Fresh Snow
Paper: GKD Pure Luxury
Other: Pearls, Ribbon, Spellbinders - Rectangles & Ribbon Tags, Cuttlebug EF
For my second card I used the colors Pumpkin Spice, white and Turquoise Sea Pure Luxury Papers.
I used Gina's Friends are Forever stamp set. The flowers are colored with copics - YR12, YR14, YR18, Y17, YG63, E23, E25, BG0000. I added stickles to the petals for a bit of sparkle.
The pattern papers are MME Stella Rose - Mabel.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: GKD - Friends are Forever
Ink: Memento, SU, Copics
Paper: GKD Pure Luxury, MME Stella Rose - Mabel
Other: Stickles, Ribbon
Your next stop on the hop is to Tera's fabulous blog.
Enjoy the rest of the hop and be sure to join us back at Stamp TV!
