It's a PAR-TAY!

Happy Thursday!

Are you ready to PAR-TAY?!!

The Outlawz summer party is in full swing and if you haven't checked it out yet I encourage you to do so. There are some fabulous prizes up for grabs. We have prizes for each one of our daily challenges and along with several other ways to win a prize. Check out the details on our main page right here.

Today is the POM Group's day to keep the party going! We are challenging you to create a project that has a Summer Fun theme.

Remember that POM stands for Prisma Pencils and other Mediums so you do not need to use prisma pencils on your project. Our only rule is that you do not use alcohol based markers like the copics.

I went with dye inks and embossing powders this week to create a summer scene to inspire you!

I used three different stamp sets for my scene. Beach Bum, Gifts from the Sea and Aloha, all by Gina K Designs.

The background is created using a brayer, sponges, post-it notes, memento and SU dye inks. Creating the background the easy part. I had a really hard time deciding what images to add to that scene! lol!
The surfboards were stamped on scrap pattern papers with black versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before cutting out.
The rest of the papers are SU and Gina K Designs.

I am also going to enter this card in Suzanne's Free For All Friday Challenge over at Stamp TV, which is to make a scene.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you come party with us at The Outlawz!

Gorgeous Card! I love the sunset and have seen this technique but have never tried it. Maybe now that I have seen how awesome it looks, I will be motivated to break out some inks and a brayer and give it another chance!

You did Excellent! :)
