I hope you had a chance to check out The Outlawz Summer Party this past week! We saw a lot of awesome entries in the challenges and I for one can not wait to see who wins all of those fabulous prizes!
This week The Outlawz POM challenge is adding a twist to the challenge. With Father's Day right around the corner we would like you to create a Father's Day project...and the twist is...to include a handmade embellishment on your project.
Here is my sample...
My hand made embellishment is the little flag. I use a toothpick for the flag pole and added faux stitching around the flag itself. I also added stitching to the twill tape. I am not sure if that actually counts but I gonna say it does! ;o)
The sailboat is from Gina K Designs Enjoy the Sunshine and the sentiment is from her Tech Talk stamp set.
The papers are SU and Bazzill. The pattern paper is from Basic Grey's Archaic collection.
I hope you will play along with us this week. I can not wait to see what everyone makes for their handmade embellishment!

WOW, this is fabulous! I love the flat and that neat wire netting behind the image. I really like how the edge of the image is distressed...almost looks like it was partially burned in a fire! Fantastic job! =D

That card is fantastic!! I have not joined in on anything at the Outlawz yet even though I've been a member since they began because life has just gotten in the way right now! I'm hoping by September things will be settled down here and I can to join in all the fun! My sister is on the DT and I feel bad for not being able to support her there yet.
