Happy Halloween!
We had a quiet day. Today Abbi was able to change her earrings for the first time since she got her ears pierced. Can you believe it took 4 1/2 hours! At first she did not want my help but after a few hours decided she would accept the help. I did not remember how hard it was to get the backs off the earrings the use to pierce the ears with. Needless to say I am glad that is done!
She also surprised us by not wanting to go trick or treating today. How many 7 year old's do not want to go trick or treating? So we just visited the Grandma's in town and tomorrow we will visit the out of town Grandma.
The card for today is one I made for the Thursday sketch challenge over on Stamp TV and also shared during the release party Thursday night.
I used the sentiment from Melanie's newly release Festive Frames stamp set. It was stamped on Ivory Pure Luxury paper with Rich Cocoa. I cut the sentiment out using a circle nestie and framed it with Octagon nesties. I added pearls, felt poinsettias and little branches to embellish the frame.
The card base is Gina's new Tan Leather paper. I love this paper! It has the neatest texture to it. The Fruitcake dp that is cut out with the spellbinders labels six is embossed with the diamond sizzix ef and matted on Cranberry Tart paper also cut out with a labels six die.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Festive Frames
Ink: Rich Cocoa
Paper: Tan Leather, Cranberry Tart, Ivory Pure Luxury, Basic Gray - Fruitcake
Accessories: Gina's Ribbon, Circle and Octagon Nestibilitities, Spellbinders Label Six, Branch Punch, Pearls, Felt Poinsettia's

So pretty Sharri! I used to hate the earring thing! Now my daughter goes through it with her 2 daughters!
