Hi!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Wednesday! I am happy that the work week is half over!
I seem to be a day behind this week. I can not seem to get my cards uploaded in time for the challenges that I made them for. This one was for the Wednesday technique challenge on Stamp TV and was suppose to be submitted by 8pm last night...see I am a day behind! Hee hee!
The challenge was to use the cracked glass technique. Can you see the cracks in the sunflower?
The sunflower is from Gina K's A Year of Flowers. I stamped the sunflower itself twice with Tuxedo black ink on layering weight white pure luxury paper and colored one with copics. After cutting it out I heat embossed it 4 times with ultra thick embossing power and stuck it in the freezer for 15 minutes. The stem and leaves were also colored with copics and re-colored with a versamarker and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Next I sponged the So Saffron and Pretty in Pink around them. I popped up the sunflower.
The sentiment is from Gina K's Thanks a Million stamp set and punched out with the Fancy Tags.
Thank you for stopping by and have a very blessed evening!

Very pretty card Sharri! I love that technique. So classy. I'm not happy that you missed your deadline, but gosh, I'm so happy to hear I am not the only one that scrambles to meet them! lol! I would LOVE to do some of the challenges at Stamp TV, but I only have a couple of their stamp sets. I hope to purchase more soon. Again, beautiful card!!! Love it!
Love how this turned out Sharri! The sunflower is so pretty...nice design.
You rocked that challenge! I'm late on my challenge cards too!
It's really lovely Sharri. I am so behind on all my DT stuff, and haven't done any challenges for about a month. I need to stop shopping!!
