Sunrise rooster

Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! I had another busy weekend. I really need to think ahead a schedule posts over the weekend since I am such a busy person...hee hee!

I had a really fun afternoon today. I Met Tina Gilliland at Gina K's store and brought her back to my house to stamp with me. She is so sweet and very nice. I was so glad to be able to meet her and spend some time with her. She brought her son and daughter with and her Emily and my Abbi got along great! Abbi is already asking when they can come back to visit.
I will make sure to post the two cards we made together over the next couple of days but today I am sharing a card I made Friday night.

I used the stamp set from Gina's new Stamp TV kit called Signs of Autumn. I used the rooster image from the set
I color the stamp with mementos marker then stamped it on SU's WW cs. I colored over the image with my versamarker and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Next I masked off the sun with a circle I punched from a post-it note and brayered the sky with first Barely Banana, So Saffron and Crushed Curry. I used another post-it note to sponge the rays of the sun with Crushed Curry and also sponged it around the edge of the paper. The trees were stamped next and they are from SU's Lovely as a Tree set. These were also colored with markers before stamping them. I sponged the ground with Always Artichoke and added Basic Black to give it shading. The clouds were sponged with Mementos London Fog ink using a torn edge of a post-it note. The card is layered on Always Artichoke and Crushed Curry.

Have a wonderful rest of your evening!
Hugs,

Thanks for the nice comment on my card. How did you set up a blog at Stamp TV. Is there a place to do that there?
