Color Challenge

Hi!

It's the weekend! Woo Hoo! What are your plans for the weekend? I'm just going to relax tomorrow but Sunday I am spending the day with my daughters. We are going to go school shopping for Abbi. She wants her big sister to go along to help pick out her school supplies and clothes. The girl grew quite a bit this summer and is in need of clothes that fit.

I made this card for this weeks color challenge on Stamp TV. The colors were red, brown and ivory.
The rose is from Gina K's Friendship's Garden. I wanted to use the rose image without the leaves on the stem so instead of inking the stamp with an ink pad, I used my black Mementos marker to ink everything but the leaves. The rose is colored with copics and I used my sakura glitter pen and niji waterbrush to add a bit of shimmer to the rose.
The cs is all from Gina K, Chocolate Kiss, Rocket Red and Ivory. The dp is from SU and is retired, I honestly do not remember the name. The ribbon is also SU.

Here is a picture of the inside. I left it blank for now until I decide if it will be for a birthday, thinking of you...etc.

The rose is from A Year of Flowers, also Gina K. It is colored copics.
