Havest Pumpkins

Hello!

It's Wednesday and for me that means the work week is half over. I am really struggling this week. I am on a huge project at work that is not going well which makes it tough to get up in the morning and want to go to work. My therapy this week has been to go home and hide in my crafting corner.

Today I am sharing a card I made for last weeks technique challenge on Stamp TV which was to emboss with an embossing folder and ink.
The background is embossed using certain celery ink. In the video showing this technique, Gina inked the folder by directly applying the ink with the ink pad. To do this technique, I ink the folder using my brayer. This just works better for than using the ink pad. I also used this technique on the "moon" behind the pumpkins and the corner with crushed curry cs and crushed curry ink.
The pumpkins and leaves are from Gina's Signs of Autumn stamp set. The pumpkins are colored with copics. Did you notice that there are 4 pumpkins. The stamp itself only has 3. I stamped another image of the pumpkins and cut out the littlest one to pop up in front of the other pumpkin image. I stamped one of the leaves with crushed curry, masked it and stamped the second leaf with dusty durango.
I finished off the card with crushed curry polka dot ribbon.

Have a great rest of your day!

Oh wow! Those pumpkins are gorgeous! I love fall images/colors! I'm always sooo busy and often don't take the time to check out the video tutorials, but I love my cuttlebugs and your background is gorgeous! I'm so inspired to check out Gina's tutorial now. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and post a comment!
