A rose for Mom

Happy Monday cyber friends!!

It has been raining on and off all weekend and still raining today! Yuck!
Saturday we went to WI Badger game and I froze my hinny off!! It was a good game but I would have enjoyed it much more if it wasn't raining and was warmer!! Before the game we went to a tailgate party put on by a local radio station. My hubby won free passes for it...they had free food and beverages. That was fun!!
I should have stayed there during the game lol!
The rest of my weekend was spent craft table working on some projects that I can not show you yet...here's a hint...they are for an upcoming party!!!

I realized I had not shared this card with you yet. This was published in the May/June issue of Through The Craftroom Door Magazine.
The rose and leaves are from Heartfelt Creations Grandiflora Rose and Leafy Swirls stamps sets. I stamped the rose 4 times on pattern paper with versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Then cut out different pieces of three of the roses to layer them for dimension. The leaves and sentiment are also heat embossed with the gold embossing powder. The pin and charm have been in my stash for quite a while. I believe they are on of T.H.'s Ideology collections.

Mom's Day and some news

Happy Thursday my friends!!
I have exciting new to share with you. I received an email from Colleen the creator and owner of The Outlawz Challenges asking me to join their Design Team! Eeekk! I am so excited and just over the moon thrilled to be joining the Outlawz Girlz!! They are such an amazing and talented group of ladies! Thank you so much Colleen!!!
I will be with the Thursday's group for the POM challenges. POM is Prisma and other Medium. I am really looking forward to getting back into using other mediums than my beloved copics! ;o)

This week we are challenging you to create a Mother's Day card or project.
Here is my Sample for you. I will be giving this card to my Mom...so Mom close your eye if you want to be surprised! lol!

The sentiment is from Gina K Designs Notes To Mom stamp set. I love this sentiment because my Mom is really my best friend. Love you Mom!!
The medallion type circle was made with a Crafter's Workshop stencil called Mini Daisy Doodad and SU Coral Cameo ink and paper. I sponged the stencil before cutting it out with Circle Nestibilities.
The patter paper is from My Minds Eye's - Stella & Rose's Hazel pad. I added a bit of ribbon, lace, brads and a WOC rose to finish off the card.
