GKD CSS Alumni Sketch Hop

Hello!
Welcome to the January CSS Alumni blog hop. If you came from the blog of the very talented Melissa, you are in the right place! If not, I encourage you to start at the beginning by heading over the Stamp TV. I wouldn't want you to miss all of the eye candy these talented ladies have created to share tonight.

Melissa has created this sketch for us use for our projects tonight.

I am going to keep my chatter to a minimum so you can keep hopping along. If you have any questions on my cards, please drop me an email or leave them in a comments for me.
Let's take a peek at my first card.
As you can see I flipped the sketch. The butterfly and sentiment are from the Strength and Hope stamp set. The butterfly is colored with copics and then covered with stickles. I added a trail of pearls to make it look like the flight pattern.
Card Supplies:
Stamps: Strength and Hope
Ink: Memento
Paper: SU, Gina K, Cryogen, Basic Grey - Cappella
Other: Pearls, Stickles, Spellbinders Rectangles, Copics - BV0000, 000, 00, 01/R000, 00, 01

For this card I took a few liberties with the sketch...yes that is the rebel coming out :) But hopefully you can still see the basic sketch.
I used the same stamp set, Strength and Hope. I paper pieced the ribbon behind the flowers. I stamped the image on another piece of paper, colored the flowers with copics, cut them out to and glued them over the ribbon.

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Strength and Hope
Ink: Versamark, Memento
Paper: SU, Gina K, Basic Grey - Cappella
Other: Pearls, Ribbon, Lace, SNSS Scalloped Die, Spellbinders Labels 18 & 23, Copics - R000, 00, 01

Before I send you on your way I want to remind to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (January 17), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps! The more you comment the more chances to win!!

Now I am going to send you on your way to Tera's blog to see her gorgeous project.
Enjoy the rest of the hop!!
