Anything goes today!

Happy Thursday!
This week The Outlawz POM DT girlz are throwing out an "Anything Goes" challenge! You can do what ever you want with your card or project as long as you do not use Alcohol ink markers on your project. I invite you to play along with us!
Today I have a card using a digi image from Digi Doodle which happens to be sponsoring the POM challenges for the month of May with a $10.00 Gift Card to one lucky participant.
I colored the Pansies with Koh-i-noor soft pastel pencils. Now I have never used pastel pencils before so I did a bit of research online on how to use them and then just played until I found a way that worked for me. I found that the pencils worked best on paper with a bit of 'tooth' so I used PTI's white cardstock. I also used a blending stump to soften and blend the colors. Similar to how you would with the Primsa pencils but without the OMS. They were really easy to use which actually surprised me. For some reason I thought they would be more challenging.
I added a few details to my card such as the lace, flowers, Pearls and a leafy vine die.
The pattern papers are from the new Basic Grey's Sweet Threads pack.
