Split Negative with a twist

Good morning!! I hope you are all having a good weekend so far! We have been very busy and the next couple of weeks are jam packed for us too! Today we are having Abbi's birthday party and I still need to finish up the cakes and get the house in order. At least I have a few hours until the party starts to get everything done ;o) I love the look of the rolled flowers and bought a couple of the rolled rose dies from MFT but had been struggling with making them and actually having them look decent. When I got together with my stamping pals last month, Jessica gave us a couple of pointers and after following them I have mastered the rolled flowers, lol! The flowers are made out of cork paper and I added some pearls to the centers. The sentiment is from the Gina K Designs stamp set called Christ has Risen. I just adore this verse. The papers are SU and Gina K Designs. I embossed the background panels with Cuttlebugs Victoria embossing folder. I recently picked up a new MS border punch at Micheal's and love that I can thread ribbon through the holes along the center of the border. I decided to take the plunge and submit cards to several magazines for publication. Cross your finger for me! I picked up several new stamps and even took another plunge and bought a few digi stamps. I have been busy coloring and if I can find some time will get some of them made into cards to share with you ;o)
Have a fabulous day and thank you so much for stopping by!!
