Birthday Wishes

Hiya Stampers!!

How is your weekend going? Great, I hope!!
It has been a busy one for me! Friday right after I got home from work we got together with some friends for dinner. Yesterday morning Abbi and I went shopping for a birthday present for my nephew. We also stopped at a couple of craft stores as I needed to find a C plate for my cuttlebug. Can you believe I did not buy anything other than the C plate?!! I think that was a first!! lol! Maybe getting several boxes of goodies in the mail this past week had something to do with that. *wink*
After shopping Abbi got to play with her cousins while DH and I got together with my Mom, brothers and sisters for an afternoon/evening of food and games. Today I am getting caught up on housework and laundry before we have to head out this afternoon for my nephews birthday party. And tomorrow is back to work!
One of the packages I got in the mail this week contained some new rubber! I have been trying so hard not to buy new stamps so I force myself to use the stamps that I have but when I saw some of the new stamps Gina K released this month I could not resist. I am hoping to ink the rest of them up this week!
The frame and sentiment is from the Gina K's Framed Greetings stamp set. The frame was stamped twice, once on pattern paper and again on white paper. I colored the flowers and butterfly with copics, YR00, YR01, YR02/YR61, YR65, BG72/YG17, YG23, YG25 on the white, stamped the sentiment and cut the circle center out to paper piece on the frame cut out with pattern paper. I cut another white frame using a labels 16 die. The felt flowers are from SU as is the ribbon. All the papers except the white are SU too. The white is Copic X-press It. The flourish swirls are from a Sizzix die as is the butterfly on the swirl.

I used the sketch for this weeks Stamp TV sketch challenge.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope your have a wonderful rest of your day and weekend!!!
