Outside my window

Happy Wednesday my crafting friends!

Well we did not get snow yesterday like the weatherman said we were going to but it sure has gotten cold! We have wind chills into the single digits! I was telling my friend Kelly yesterday that I wouldn't mind hibernating in my house for the winter. I am not a cold weather person but I do love watching the snow fall and how beautiful everything looks after a snowfall so hibernating in my house for the winter would be perfect for me. I would be nice and toasty warm, wouldn't have to go out in the cold, but could still enjoy my snow! lol!

Speaking of snow, I have another card with snow to share today...a snowman counts as snow, right?
This card was inspired by this weeks color challenge on Stamp TV. The colors were to use White, Green Apple and Ocean Mist pure luxury papers.
The window and snowman are from Gina K's Hip to be Square stamp set. I stamped the window on white pure luxury paper, masked around the edges and stamped the snowman. I punched out two circles to mask my snowman before brayering in the sky with SU soft sky and then Memento Summer Sky ink. I stamped the pine branches next, leaving the masks in place. The pine branches are from Gina's Winter Foliage stamp set.

The sentiment is from Gina's Holiday Greetings stamp set. I felt my card needed a little something along the bottom and side of the card so I added a couple of score lines with my score buddy.

There is still time to play along with the color challenge and a chance free stamp set is up for grabs for anyone that does play along . Don't worry if you do not have Gina's Pure Luxury papers, you can use any papers that are similar in color.

Thanks for checking in with me today!

Might youse folks have a Facebook or maybe Facebook fan web page? My husband and I searched for one on Zynga and MySpace but yet couldn’t recognize 1. I would desire to turn into a supporter!
