Happy Spring stamp set and card kit

Hello!

I have a special post for you tonight to show you the newly release Gina K stamp set called Happy Spring that come with a free card kit designed by Jessica Fick. This is my favorite card kit so far!

The card kit includes:
2 sheets of Green Apple Pure Luxury paper
1 sheet of White Pure Luxury Paper
1 sheet of Vibrant Violet Pure Luxury Paper
1 sheet of pattern paper with 4 exclusive quarter sheet designs
1 yard of ribbon
silver brads
Printed instructions
Happy Spring stamp set

And all that is only $19.95!

I love that this kit included full sheets of paper and not pre-cut. This gives you the option of making the cards exactly like the printed instructions or using the papers anyway you wish for cards.

I did not follow instructions because I wanted to show how fun it can be use the materials in the kit for your own designs. I made three projects using just papers in the kit.

My first project is a card.Aren't those patterned papers gorgeous? I just love how the glove and hat image in this set look paper pieced.
I embossed the primas with the cuttlebug swiss dots folder. The sentiment is stamped with Memento's Grape Jelly ink and cut out using the new spellbinders label 11 and matted on labels 12 and 5.
I made this cute little box to go with the card above to give as a gift set.
The box is made with the Sizzix Scalloped Envelope die. I cut out 4 of the envelopes and used my score tape to tape the sides of the envelopes together and folding up and taping the bottoms of the envelope to create the bottom of the box. Again I paper pieced the hat and attached it the another embossed prima. The sentiment is another from the set and is cut with spellbinders labels and double ended labels. I added silver nail heads to the end of the labels which I colored with a copic marker to match the purple in the pattern paper.

My last project is another card.
For this card I used the seed packet/flower pot image. I colored the image with copics. I love this image and how versatile it is. I can see replacing the seed packets with punched out or prima flowers, can't you? The brad I used are the silver ones that came in the card kit which I colored with a copic marker because I also want them to match the purples in the pattern papers.

So what do you think of this months card kit? Are you lovin' it as much as I do? I think I need to buy another one just to get some more of that gorgeous pattern paper!!!
