Autumn Beauty

Good evening!

Have you ever had one of those days where nothing was easy to do? That would be my day today! The day started off with me over sleeping and I barely made it to work on time and my day went pretty much the same the rest of the day. Thankfully it's Friday tomorrow and I have a long weekend to look forward to!

I have another brayered background card to share today. I am working on a tutorial for how I create the backgrounds with a brayer. I have a some time tomorrow after work to work on it and hopefully I can get it done before my daughter gets home from school. She has been so chatty lately that when I try to work on the tutorial I get distracted with her chatter and forget to take pictures of each step. lol!

I used Theresa Momber's new set Autumn Beauty that she illustrated for Gina K and was released the end of August. This set is gorgeous!!
I stamped the images with memento's Tuxedo black ink and colored them with copics. Since I was going to use the brayer for the background, I colored over the images again with a versamarker and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
The sky was brayered first with Marigold Morning, then Coral Cameo and lastly with Rich Razzleberry. The ground was sponged, first with Sage Shadow, then Handsome Hunter and I added a touch of Basic Black for shadows.
Since I paired the mailbox with the flowers around it and the wheelbarrow, I filled the wheelbarrow with lilac and heather flowersoft and also added a little on the ground around the wheel and a touch on the ground by the mailbox.
The sentiment is Gina K's Punchy Words and was cut out with a sizzix diecut label.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow!
