Hi!
My daughter was so excited when I picked her up from daycare and told her we were picking her friend Ashley up for a play date at our house. The girls are having so much fun and I am just kicking back surfing around to my favorite sites and blogs. I really should be vacuuming or cleaning up the kitchen or many of the other household chores that need to be done but I am feeling lazy this afternoon.
A good friend of mine lost her Mother on Monday. This poor girl has been through so much these past month and she just told me today that her Uncle passed away this morning. Kay, my dear, you are in my thoughts and prayers!
Kay's co-worker's asked me if I would make a card for them to sign and send to her. This is the card I came up with.
I used Gina K's Take Flight stamp set for the butterflies. They were stamped with versamark on vellum and heat embossed with rangers bridal embossing powder. The sentiment is from a Gina K stamp set called Framed Flowers.
The cs is Cranberry Crisp, River Rock and Going Grey. The dp is from Basic Greys Porcelain.
I finished off the card with ribbon and pearls.
Have a great rest of your day!
hugs,

Sharri, what a gorgeous card!! Ashley had a BLAST yesterday! Thank you so much for picking her up - you're such a great friend and put a big smile on both of our faces! lol! If you think of it, email me Kay's address so I can send her a card. I'm so sorry to hear of her mom and now her uncle! What a difficult period of time she is dealing with!
