Guiding me.

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a good weekend and a great Mother's Day! How did you spend your Mother's day?

I spent Saturday at my Mom's. Every year all of us kids get together the Saturday before Mom's day and work around her yard. We raked up the leftover leaves, trim trees, bushes, clean out the hedges and gutters. It's also this day that we decide what big house project we are going to do for her. Last year we remodeled the bathroom and upgraded the bathroom for her.

Yesterday I spent the day with my husband and daughters and also nursing a cold. My youngest daughter decided to share her cold with me.

Today I wanted to share a card I made using Guiding Light, illustrated by Rupa Shevde for Gina K.

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Koh-i-noor and Prisma pencils. I used the oval nestibilities to cut it out and to mat the image. The dp is Basic Grey's Wisteria.
I tied some hemp around Nautical Netting and threaded it through the anchor. The anchor is also from the Guiding Light stamp set and was colored with the Koh-i-noor and prisma pencils.

To finish the card, I added brads and paper pierced the corners.

Here is the inside of the card.
I hope your afternoon is blessed with much happiness!
Hugs,

Very pretty Sharri! Lol, our Mom's Day was spent nailing shingles, etc. We took on some of Mother Nature's force on Friday, and were out of power from noon Fri. until 2 pm on Sunday! All is well - we're blessed - no injuries! Glad your weekend was nice!
