Easter basket

I am so glad birthday's only come once a year! We celebrated my daughter's birthday yesterday by having a friends party. I spent all Thursday afternoon, evening and Friday morning getting ready for this party. We were absolutely nuts and took 12 children to a Build-a-Bear party. If that wasn't enough, I made sure they were nice and sugared up before we went by feeding them cake and ice cream. We were very thankful we had a couple other Mother's helping us drive the kids. It was all worth it because Abbi said she had a good birthday and the kids had a lot of fun. Today I am busy getting ready for Easter and baking two more cakes for birthday parties with my husband's family and my family tomorrow but since I haven't posted for a couple of days I wanted to take a break and share a card with you.

The stamp set I used for this card is Baskets of Happiness by Gina K. The image was stamped with Mementos Tuxedo Black on layering weight pure luxury paper and colored with copics. The eggs were colored again with a sakura glitter pen then covered with crystal lacquer. The center of the flowers were colored with the silver Atyou spica pen.

The image was cut out with nestibilities deckled rectangle and matted on cameo coral and so saffron also cut with rectangle nestibilities. The base of the card is so saffron and on top of that is ballet blue embossed using the stylized flowers embossing folder. I used a new EK Success border punch for the strip of cameo coral cs on the side and finished the card with so saffron ribbon and brads.

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend and a very happy Easter!
Hugs,
Sharri
