Was your Valentine good to you? My Hubby and Daughter got me beautiful roses.
The card today is the one I made for my honey for Valentine's Day. The card is a 4 1/4 square shape. The cs is SU's Going Grey, Bazzill (the black stuff) and 120 lb pure luxury. The dp is from Doodlebug. The stamp set used is Whimsical Valentine from GinaK Designs.
I used the nesties Label One die cuts to make the frame for the sentiment. The bee was colored with copics and I used sticklers on the stripes and heart. The rest of the body, with the exception of the face, is yellow Doodlebug Flock. The wings were water colored with a Sakura's glitter pen.The hearts were punched with Marvy punches. The Going Grey heart was water colored with Stardust sticklers. I was not sure why I decided to watercolor Sticklers but I am glad I did. It gave the heart a really neat texture. I almost did not cover it up with the red heart!
One of these days I will remember to take a picture of the inside of the card to show how I decorated it...hee hee!
