How is everyone today? It's a nice day here in southern Wisconsin. It is sunny and in the lower thirties.
The card I am sharing today was made for a challenge that can be found here on Melanie Muenchinger's blog.
To win Melanie's blog candy you had to have your card done and linked to her blog by today...I think I might be to late for the candy, but am still going to send this card and a few others to Pat for the Children's hospital.
I apologize in advance for the short details on the card - It's been one of those days and is still going!
I just bought a new DCWV paper pack called The Sweet Stack. The paper in this pack is "SWEET". The dp for this card is just one of the designs in the pack. It's is hard to tell from this picture but the dp is covered in glitter and really sparkles irl.The cs used is Pink Passion and Pale Plum. The Stamp sets used is Melanie's Hand in Hand and SU' Fancy Flexible Sayings for the Be Mine and xoxoxo stamped on the small hearts.
The hands were colored with copic markers and I added Kaiser Pearls to make a bracelet on the girls wrist. I also added pearls to the top center of the smaller hearts.
All the hearts were cut out using the nesties heart dies.
I do not remember the name of the embossing folder I used on the pale plum background but after I embossed the cs, I painted simmerz on the flowers. I also used friskar's heart border punch for the top and bottom borders.
