Holding Heaven

Good Morning!

Don't you just love Melanie's new Hand in Hand stamp set? When Gina issued the black and white challenge, I knew I wanted to use this set.

I used my memento tuxedo black ink pad to really ink up the hands image. I off stamped a couple of times then stamped it on the pure luxury 80 lb. card stock. Then I inked the sentiment and stamped that over part of the image. Doesn't this give the look of a watermark? I love this look and should really use this technique more. The image is was cut using the rectangle nesties and the black mat using the scalloped rectangles. I used the gunmetal metallic rub-on paste around the edges of the focal point and added self adhesive pearls to the corners.

The background is the Heart Blocks embossing folder and also has the gunmetal metallic rub-on paste around the edges and pearls in the corner. I added the double stitched ribbon and cut out the two smallest hearts from the heart nesties and used a glue dot to stick them on the knot of the ribbon.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!
