Hip Hop Giraffe

Good morning!

I had a chance this weekend to sit in my crafting corner, yes it's literally a corner I have taken over in our 4 season sun room. I chose to set up 'shop' here even though there is a whole finished area in the lower level and a spare bedroom upstairs that would have given me a lot more room. No I am not nuts! We spend most of our time in this room as a family and I love being able to spend time with my husband and daughters, and still be able to stamp away at my table.

Anywho, I decided to use of some of my never-ending scraps. The card I am sharing today and the ones tomorrow are made using scraps. Well today's is mostly scraps, I have to dig into my Basic Grey Sugared paper pack once I had this little giraffe stamped from Melanie's Hip Hop Accessories stamp set.
Don't you love how these pieces of the sugared paper coordinate so when with this little guy?
That little guy is colored with copic markers.
The cs used is True Thyme, Cranberry Crisp, 120 lb pure luxury paper and DCWV textured paper which I used to mat the heart and giraffe after cutting them out using the rectangle and heart nestibilities dies.
The sentiment in the heart is from SU's Lots of Thoughts stamp set and stamped in Cranberry Crisp ink. Before I removed the heart from the nestibilities die, I sponge some of the cranberry ink around the sentiment.
The cranberry cs background is embossed with the Heart Blocks folder.

I added ribbon and heart bottoms for my embellishments.

Have an awesome rest of your day!
Sharri
