Welcome back to the previews for The Crafts Meow's October release!
We are on day 3 of the previews for the new stamps being released on Monday October 21st, during The Craft's Meow New Release Blog Hop and today we are previewing a gorgeous new set illustrated by Clare Buswell called Christmas Lantern!
I stamped the image twice then using my copics, I completely colored one image and just the poinsettia on the other one. I cut out a portion of the colored poinsettia and used foam dimensional to adhere it over the poinsettia of the completely colored image to add dimension.
I embossed the card stock behind the image to add a little texture to the card.
I added glitter glaze to the center of the poinsettia. I kept the embellishments to a minimum so the lantern could take center stage.
Like the past two days of previews, you have a chance to win a Christmas Lantern of your own. All you have to do use visit The Craft's Meow Blog and leave a comment by 8:00 pm EST tonight. The winner will be posted on The Craft's Meow Blog tomorrow morning.
For more Christmas Lantern eye candy, check out the rest of the DT’s projects on the TCM blog!
I will be back tomorrow for our last day of previews. We have two more sets to another new set by Karen Baker and a new one from Nina B Designs!

Beautifully done, Sharri - love the colors you chose!
Gorgeous card! I love the "popped" poinsettia and I love your sentiment high on the card!
Great job coloring and dimension on your card. I like the embossing and the way your did the sentiment is so pretty.
