TCM August Release Blog Hop

Welcome to The Craft's Meow Blog August Release Blog Hop!

The Craft's meow

Today we are celebrating the release of the 6 new stamp sets that we have previewed the past 4 days! All of the new sets are now available for purchase along with Dream Catcher which is this months free gift with a $60 purchase! Dream Catcher will also be available for purchase.

If you came from Nina Brackett's blog then you're right where you're supposed to be. If not, please head on over to The Craft's Meow blog to start at the beginning so you do not miss any of the gorgeous creations the designers are sharing today.

As you hop along make sure to leave a comment on each designer's blogs for a chance to win the ENTIRE August Release!
One lucky person will win all six of the newly released stamp sets by leaving comments on the blogs on the hop. We'll pick a blog and then randomly draw from there. The competition runs until 8:00 pm Pacific on Friday, August 23rd. The winner will be announced the next day on the store blog.

I have a couple of cards to share with you today. My first card uses Dream Catcher and Folk Art Blooms sets.

The dream catcher was colored with copics - BG000, BG01/R22, R24/E23, E33. I cut it out using SB Oval dies and used pearls for the beads.
After stamping the flowers from Folk Art Bloom, I shaded them with a copic marker that was a shade darker than the ink color then fussy cut them out. The sentiment from Dream Catcher.

My next card uses Potted Garden and Choose Hope stamp sets.

The flowers/pot were colored with copics - YG91, YG93, YG97/Y21, Y23, Y26/E93, E95, E97/E30, E31, E33.
The sentiment and little flower next to it are from Choose Hope. I wanted the beautiful tulips to take center stage so I kept the embellishments to a minimum and just added a piece of lace.
The pattern papers are My Minds Eye - Stella Rose Gertie.

I am your last stop on the hop today.
Thank you so much for hopping with us! I hope we were able to inspire you with our projects using the new stamps and maybe tempted you to add a set or two to your collection or wish list!

The potted garden card speaks to me. It is such a kind sentiment for a friend in need. This is a set that would be wonderful for those situations where you can't find the words....for a hospital auxilliary or hospice group.
Maybe I should look into that in my area.

Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing your talent!

I love the design of both cards. Adding the Folk Art Blooms to the Dream Catcher and how the feather is off the oval is great. The tulip card is so quilty with the background and I also like the beautiful lace trim. Super job.
