It has been a long week and a half for me. I had a bit of an accident and ended up with stitches in my hand. It was a really deep gash so the Doctor wanted me to limit the use of my hand. That was an eye opener! You don't realize how much you use your hands until you can not use one!
I was went back on Friday to have the stitches taken out and after the nurse removed the first one, he went to get the Doctor. Apparently the wound had not healed enough and they were hesitant to remove the rest. They decided that the stitches needed to come out because they were irritating my skin and replaced them with steri-strips. Unfortunately I still need to limit the use of the hand because they want the steri-strips to stay on for a week.
On the bright side I been spending a bit of time at my craft table doing a bit of coloring...it's one of the few things I can do with one hand ;^)
Anywho, I have a card to share with you that I made a couple of weeks ago.
I went with a masculine theme and used TCM's Giddy Up stamp set. The fence is one of MFT's Dies. The pattern papers are Cosmo Crickets Wanted. The only embellishments I added were nail head brads and ribbon.
