Hello and WELCOME to The Crafts Meow February blog hop!
This month we are tempting you with Valentine's/Love projects to inspire you for Valentine's Day!
If you came to my blog by the way of the awesomely talented Nina, you are right on track. If not, I invite you start at the beginning of the hop, here.
If you get lost along the way, you can find a list of all the designer participating on The Craft's Meow Blog.
Now let's check out what I have created for you...
I love creating holiday treat boxes that I can fill with goodies for my youngest daughter. I have also made a matching card for her.
The balloons are the same ones I used from the image on the card which is from Valentine Wishes. To stamp just the balloons, I carefully inked just the balloons and used a damp Q-tip to wipe off any extra ink. The box for the treat holder is a 2 1/2 inch square bottom and each side is also 2 1/2 inches.
The sentiment is from Zoom Goes My Heart.
The card uses the full image from Valentine Wishes and I paper pieced the hearts to match the treat box and colored the rest of the image with copics - E000, E00, E11, E40, E41, E42/R43, R46/BG000/B52.
I kept with the treat boxes theme by using hearts and a banner. I combined the Be Mine sentiment from Valentine Wishes with the Valentine sentiment from Zoom Goes My Heart for the card.
All the pattern papers are My Minds Eye Love Me.
Now I am going to send you on your way to Veronica's blog to see her beautiful creation!
