Dwelling on You

Hi!

I hope your Monday has gotten off to a good start! I have a little scene card to share with you today.

The house is The Crafts Meow Love Dwells Here stamp set and the thinking of you sentiments  from the Telegram stamp set. Before I stamped the sentiment, I covered the banner part with a post it note so I could stamp just the thinking of you to stick between the roof and the wall. Then I stamped the full sentiment on a separate piece of paper and cut out banner to glue to the wall of the house.
I shaded the roof with copics - BG70, 72/N2.
The grass and clouds are cut from MFT dies - Fresh Cut Grass and Cloud Trio.

I did not have black ribbon in the width I wanted for the card so I took my copic black marker (100) and colored the ribbon. This was the first time I colored ribbons with a copic marker and was surprised how well it covered!

I was not planning on putting the focal image to the side of the card but I got a smudge of black ink next to the house and could not pass it off as a bird :^) So I had to improvise a bit.
