Sea shells for Dad

Hello!

Today I have a Father's Day card to share.

I used a Gina K's new stamp set called Gifts from the Sea.

I stamped all the images with Rich Cocoa and shaded they with copics. The background is a cuttlebug ef, Diamond in the Rough and I sponged over the embossed parts with Old Paper distressed ink. The netting is normally a straw colored and I wanted it to look darker so I sponged Basic Gray ink over it. I like how it turned out. The scallop border is a new EK border punch which I got a couple weekends ago when I was feeding my addition at the local craft stores. I won't tell you how many other new border punches I got but will say they are an addiction of mine *wink*!

Have a wonderful rest of your day and thanks for stopping by!

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Gifts of the Sea

Ink: Rich Cocoa, Basic Gray, Old Paper distressed ink, Copics (W0, W1, W2, W3)
Other: Netting, EK Border Punch, Big Scalloped Circle Nestibililites, Cuttlebug EF, Buttons, Scappers Floss

Great card. Love that new stamp set. The netting is a perfect embellishment.

btw, I am a punch addict too. I hope there isn't a cure for it!

Love this card Sharri! Masculine is always a struggle for me, but you nailed it with this one. Love that netting and the way you used the Cuttlebug folder for that subtle background addition.
