I have a quick post this morning.
Once a month I get together with some stamping friends for an afternoon of stamping and chatting. Today is the day we get together and I wanted to show you a sample of the project I will be sharing with them.
It's a shaped easel card and I am really please with how it turned out. I also dug out some of my SU papers and stamps...I really need to use my SU stamps more. I forgot how much I love some of them.
This first picture is of it all folded up. The flower image is from SU's Bloomin' Beautiful and is colored with copics and I added stickles to give it some sparkle. All the papers but the Ivory is SU. The ivory is Gina K's.
This picture shows the card opened.
And here is the top view which gives you a better view of the sentiment which is from Gina K's Framed Flowers.
So do you think the girls will like this? I sure hope so!
Thank you for checking in with me and have a wonderful rest of your Sunday!!

OMGosh Sharri, I love it! And, your stamping friends will too! What a beautiful card. I've never seen an easel card done in a shape.
Gorgeous! Too bad I don't live close enough to join your group! hehe! Have fun!
Oh my goodness, this is stunning! I'm sure there will be lots of Ooohs and Aaahs!!
Oh, Wow! I am so loving this. Sure wish I had the large scallop Spellbinders nestabilities. I do have the Bloomin' Beautiful stamp set though! And the Groovy Guava. Maybe I can "sort of" CASE this. I need a couple of nice Mother's Day cards for two sweet Daughters-in-law! Thanks for sharing this gorgeous card!!!
