Baby, I'm Yours!

Happy Monday!

Where do the weekends go? I hate that they just fly by! I spent a lot of time stamping this weekend...it wasn't something that I had planned on but the chair at my crafting table is the only one that I can sit on without being in too much pain and if I am sitting at my table I might as well stamp right? This time it's not my neck causing me the pain. I fell on the ice last week and broke my tailbone. Needless to say it has been an interesting and frustrating week finding out all the things that I can not do just because of a broken tail bone.

Anywho...let me tell you about my card...
I used stamps from Gina K's Sung From the Heart Stamp set. The bird and envelope were stamped on Gina's White PL paper, colored with copics and cut out. The background was created with my handy brayer. The sky was brayered with Tempting Turquoise and Not Quite Navy. The Grass was brayered with New Sprout and Bamboo Leaves.
I stamped the bird image in the sky with Mementos Tuxedo Black ink then glued the bird that was colored and cut out over it. I added glitter to the heart he is carrying in his mouth.
I used my Heart Nestibilities to cut out the hearts and glued the envelope in the middle of the largest heart. I also added glitter to the hearts in the envelope. The sentiment was stamped with Riding Hood Red ink and cut out with Spellbinder's Labels
I finished off the card with the heart border, ribbon treatment and one of the spellbinder's heart corners.

I think I will give this card to my Husband for Valentine's Day.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I appreciate each and every visit!
Hugs,

What a sweet card! Your husband will love it.

So sorry to hear you fell. a broken tailbone does sound painful. I hope it isn't too bad and that you will be healed soon.
