Can you believe it's December and Christmas is 24 days away?!!! I so need to get going on my Christmas shopping!
Today I am sharing a card I made for last weeks technique challenge on Stamp TV. The challenge was to make a window on your card. This is what I came up with...
I started out by stamping the lil' ol' lady driving the card in memento's Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with copics. I recolored it with a versamarker and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped the window frame from Hip to be Square stamp set with versamark and heat embossed it with Black embossing powder. Next I masked the ground and brayered the sky using Pretty in Pink, Sky Blue and Pacific Point ink. I removed the sky mask and stamped the tree which is from Tree Silhouettes. Next the sky was masked and I sponged in the ground using Bamboo Leaves, Cottage Ivy, Desert Sand and Rich Cocoa. The window is matted on a piece of Soft Sand paper. The dp is from Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry and the card base is Crushed Curry.
The sentiment is from the stamp set Kindred Greetings for Her.
I also want to share a blog award that I received from one of my dear online friends, Selma. If you have a chance check out Selma's blog - she is such a talented lady and I love love love all of her work!
Seven things you "might" find interesting about me:

Seven things you "might" find interesting about me:
1. I just turned another year older in the same week as my Mom did.
2. I do not like to go to the grocery store.
3. I love my house in the Country but miss living in the city.
4. I am a romantic at heart.
5. It usually take me 2-3 hours to make a card.
6. Even though I love my job I secretly wish I worked for a stamp or paper crafting store.
7. My hobby before I took up stamping was to make dried floral arrangements.
I would like to pass this award on to some very talented and Kreativ bloggers...
Hugs,
