Down on the farm and it's summer there!

Happy Thursday!
The challenges on Stamp TV has changed a bit starting this week. There is now a challenge design team that comes up with the challenges. The challenge dt consist of past CSS Design Team members and Gina. Jennie Harper is the Thursday Sketch Challenge hostess for the next three month and to kick off her first challenge she invited the October CSS Design Team to help her out by creating a card with her sketch and post it to the challenge thread shortly after she had it up.
Here is Jennie's sketch...
and this is my card for the challenge.

I wanted to use my new pack of October Afternoon dp called Farm Fresh and while looking through my stamp sets, I came across Down on the Farm, I knew it would be a perfect fit for this paper.
I stamped the lamb with Tuxedo Black ink on white pl paper colored the face and ears with copics and used C0 to add a bit of shading the the wool of the lamb before coloring the entire image with a versamarker and heat embossing it with clear embossing powder. I used an oval nestibility to cut the lamb out. Next I used my Mementos Tuxedo Black marker to coloring portions of the branch from a stamp in the Owl Always Love You set and stamped it along the side of the oval. The branches were also colored with copics and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
I added the sky by brayering Barely Banana, Bashful Blue and Brilliant Blue in that order. I sponged in the ground with Certainly Celery, Old Olive, and Always Artichoke.
I layered the focal image on Smokey Slate and Green Apple papers. The card base is also Green Apple. The buttons are from the Neutral Button Assortment. The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black on the Green Apple and punched out with oval punches.

Here is the inside of my card...shocking that I actually remembered to take a picture of it huh?!
The sentiments are from the Thanks a Million Stamp set.
Isn't that dp cute? I am so happy that Gina will be carry October Afternoon papers in her store starting tonight!

Adorable! I love your card. I never think to use my farm animals. Love the colors as well and how the buttons look like they are attached with the ribbon. Way cool.
