Gina K's CSS DT hop

Welcome to our first Center Stage Spotlight Design Team Blog Hop!

Jessica Fick, the Design Team Coordinator for GinaK Designs has issued a challenge to all of the past and present team CSS team members to make a Christmas card with one of these sketches:

Lets get right to the card shall we? I used the first sketch for the challenge.
I used 4 different stamp sets on this card. Festive Frames, Winter Foliage, First Christmas, and Vintage Borders. The cardinal from First Christmas, was stamped with tuxedo black on white pl paper and colored with copics. The branches from Winter Foliage were inked with bamboo leaves and rich cocoa inks, stamped on white pl and cut out with a circle nestibility. The ornaments from Vintage Borders were stamped with versamark on white pl and heat embossed using gold ep, colored with copics, cut out and glued to the branches. I added a bow made out of gold thread to the tops of each ornament. I popped up the cardinal to sit on the branches.

The sentiment is from Festive Frames and was stamped in versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I did not have any green or red buttons to match the green and red papers I used, so I colored them with my copics to match. I was not able to color them so they looked like a solid green...the ink kept moving instead of covering and they ended up having a cool marbled look to them.

Here is a closer look at all the layers and dimensions. What do you say, should we go hop the night away?
