Truckin' along

Good evening!
The week is half over...woo hoo! I am looking forward to a 3 day weekend!

I finally had a chance to sit down and finish this card. I needed to made card without any layers for my nephew. That was really hard! I am a layering girl! Hee hee!

I used Gina K's The Journey stamp set and SU's Lovely as a Tree set.
The cs is base weight white pure luxury paper. The truck was stamped with tuxedo black in and colored with copics. I wanted the wheel covers, front grill and bumper to look like chrome, to accomplish that I used my niji brush and a metallic silver gel pen to watercolor them. I added crystal lacquer to the windows, headlights, and wheel covers.
The ground was created by sponging mellow moss, old olive, close to cocoa, chocolate chip and basic black. I stamped the trees with chocolate chip and sponged a bit of old olive around them and basic black underneath the branches to add shadows. I used my home-made cloud template and memento's summer sky to create the clouds. I filled in the white by rubbing blue pearlescent chalks over the entire sky.
The sentiment is from Gina K's Punchy Words and is stamped with memento's tuxedo black ink.

Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs,
