Spooky Silhouettes

Happy Tuesday!

Boy has it been a busy past couple of days! We spent these couple days finishing up with school shopping and just spending some family time together since Abbi started school today. She had a great first day and is excited to go back tomorrow. I am dragging today! This summer I had been able to sleep in a little later than I do during the school year so today was a bit rough getting up at 4:15 a.m! We will all be in bed early tonight!

Today's card is made with Gina K's Spooky silhouettes. I started the card by stamping the house and trees with versamark and heat embossed with black embossing powder. Next I inked the sun with summer sun then with versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
The sky was brayered with going grey, basic grey, and sahara sand. I sponged sahara sand along the ground and then added basic grey for the shadows. I sponged a bit of going grey on the trees the also give them shadows. Summer sun was sponged around the sun so it looks a bit like it is glowing. I stamped the bats with basic grey. I finished off the card with some bat brads and a scalloped corner punch.

Have a great rest of your evening...I am off to bed.
