Boy did we have a change of weather today...it was cold, very windy and rained on and off all day! It started last night as I was posting my Halloween card. I apologize for the abrupt end but I was afraid I was going to lose my internet connection since it is very temperamental if the weather is anything but sunny with clear skies.
The wind is still going strong so I am going to keep this short...
Tonights card is made with Gina K's Happy Camper set, which is illustrated by Theresa Momber. This is another set that is fun to create scene with which of course means I had to dig out my brayer...hee hee!
I can not decide if the sun is setting or rising. What do you think?
I started the scene out by stamping the fire pit and the tent, coloring them with copics and prisma pencils/OMS. I recolored them with a versamarker and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I masked the ground, mountain and sun then brayered in the sky with Pretty in Pink, Lavender and Elegant Eggplant. I removed the mask on the sun and sponged it with Barely Banana, Apricot Appeal and Pretty in Pink. I uncovered the mountain and masked the sky and sun and sponged in the mountain with Soft Suede and Chocolate Chip. Lastly, I sponged in the ground with Always Artichoke and shaded it with Tuxedo Black.
Thank you for visiting with me tonight and have a nice, relaxing rest of your evening!
