In the light of Friendship

Hi!

I hope so far every one's weekend is fantastic! It is cold and dreary here is Southern Wisconsin's today, definitely not August weather!

My card for today uses Gina K's Friendship's Garden and Tropical flowers stamp sets.

The plant was stamped with memento's tuxedo black ink on white layering weight pure luxury paper and colored with copics. I colored the plant again with a versamarker and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I did this so when I brayered and sponged the ink on the cs, the plant would not be covered with ink. The sides were brayered with blush blossom, pretty in pink and Almost Amethyst ink. Barely banana was sponged around the plant. I stamped one of the leaves from the Tropical Flowers stamp set around the edge of the cs with memento's desert sand. I started to stitch around the edge of the cs but I had a lot of trouble with the thread in the machine breaking so I stitched without the thread then used the potters clay memento marker to draw in the stitching.

Thank you for visiting tonight!
