Buttons, buttons, and more buttons.

Hi!

A quick update on my blog candy...I have added a few more items to the pot and will be updated my blog candy post tomorrow so you can check out the additional candy.

On to my card. This card is for another challenge over on Stamp TV. This one is for the Friday Potluck challenge. This week the challenge was to use 3 or more buttons on your card. My card has 5 buttons. All 5 are from a jar that belonged to my Grandma. There are some older and very usual buttons in the jar. Some of them are still attached to the original paper with the price written on them. Wouldn't it be great if 20 pearl buttons still cost 10 cents?
I used Gina K's Flowers for Daisy stamp set. I stamped several daisy using the masking technique with memento's tuxedo black ink on layering weight white pure luxury paper and colored the with copics. The image was cut out with a square nestie and matted on a scalloped square nestie.
The cs is chocolate chip, lavender lace and Gina's new green apple. The chocolate cs was embossed with the sizzix flourish blooms template.
The ribbon is SU's kiwi kiss and there is small pieces of ric rack tied in the holes of the buttons.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great rest of your evening!
hugs,

Beautiful card--your daisies jumped out at me. It's so nice you could use your Grandmother's buttons. What a sweet remembrance.
