Cards from the beginner workshop

Good evening!

I have a couple of cards to share that we made at Michelle's beginner brayering class. Both cards were designed by Michelle.
The tree stamps is from a Innovative Stamp Creations set called Marvels of Nature and the flourish in the second card is from another ISC set called Nature Silhouette 1. All the ink is Ranger Adirondack and the paper is either Stampin Up or Marco's.

In the above card the water and the sky were added using the brayer. The little island was added with a sponge as was the shadow along the right side of the card.
For this card the sky was added with the brayer and ground with a sponge.
I learned so much at these workshops and was very surprised how easy it was to use the brayer to create the background scenes...that is once Michelle shared her secret with us. lol!
I plan to practice all that I have learned quite a bit over the next couple of weeks. As I get better and if I am brave enough, I will try to do a few tutorials on the cards so you can see how easy it is to create a beautiful background with a brayer.
Tomorrow I will show you a couple more cards from the workshops.

Thank you for stopping by!
hugs,
