Monkeyin' around

Happy Monday!!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. It was warm and sunny yesterday so I spent quite a bit of time out in my yard.
I dug out a stamp set I picked up a few months ago but had not inked it up yet. The set is called Mindy's Zoo by Autumn Leaves. The animals in this set are so cute and perfect for paper piecing.
The colors of paper are Really Rust, Old Olive and white layering weight pure luxury. The dp is Basic grey boxer and scraps of other BG packs. The ink colors are Old Olive, Soft Sky, Barely Banana and More Mustard and Creamy Carmel.
The leaves of the flowers are colored with copics then colored with a versamarker and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before I sponged the background. The flowers are small flower shaped rhinestones that I colored with copics to match the color of the monkey. I used my quickie glue pen and brown flock on the coconuts in the palm tree.

Thank you for stopping in today and have a enjoyable evening!
