Hey There,

Good morning!

Are you an American Idol fan? If so who do you think will be the next American Idol? I had thought it would be Adam and Allison in the final two but she was voted out last week. Now my choice for the final two is Adam and Danny.

Today's card is one I made for last weeks Wednesday technique challenge on StampTV. I did get this card submitted in time with a whole 15 minutes to spare.
The challenge was to make a background using the shaving cream technique. I forgot how much I like the look of it. Gina did a great tutorial video explaining how to do the shaving cream technique.
The colors I used for the background were Groovy Guava, Basic Brown and Creamy Carmel.
The cs is Groovy Guava, layering weight white pure luxury and chocolate kiss pure luxury.
The sentiment, horse and cowboy hat are from the stamp set Out West and were colored with copics.
I used the oval nestibilities behind the horse. How do you like the stitching along the top and down the side of the oval? I used two pieces of hemp to thread through the tiny brads and then created a lasso (see how it's threaded through a wooden bead?) with the left over hemp.
I tried my hand at making barbed wire but I think I need thicker wire to get it to look more like the real thing.

Thank you for stopping in today and have a joyous day!
hugs,
