For Mom

Hi!

I hope the weather by you is just as beautiful as it is here. I have not been able to be outside to enjoy it but I am home with the doors and windows open. I love the smell of the fresh spring air in the house after a long winter.
I got a call from the school this morning asking me to come and pick up my daughter because she got sick so I have been able to sit down and make cards while she is camped out on the sofa.
My internet is actually cooperating today too so I can post! Woo Hoo!

I made today's card for the Basic Grey challenge. The challenge was a color combo and of course to use 1 item from Basic Grey. The colors for the challenge are black, grey and one other color. I used coral with the black and grey. My Basic Grey item is Granola paper, a brad and a button.

The stamp sets are Friendship's Garden by Asela Hopkins and Notes for Mom by Gina K Designs. The flowers are colored with copics and I added glitter to accent the center of the flowers. The sentiment was cut out using the blossom's nestibilities.

Here is the inside of the card. The flowers on the coral strip of paper were stamped in versamark and heat embossed using clear embossing powder.
The sentiment was cut out with both the oval nestibilities

Have a great afternoon my friends!
Hugs,
