Chillin'

Today I am sharing a card I made for the July color challenge for Reverse Confetti. Here are the colors...

July14Color
Aren't these fabulous together?!!
I had my card made over a week ago but could not take a picture that I was happy with. Since all entries have to be in tomorrow I picked the best one from all that I took and decided that it will have to do ;^)

I used a fun set called Let's Chill  along with the coordinating Let's Chill Confetti Cuts. The tag and banner are from Tag Me Confetti Cuts. I used a couple of embossing folders. For the tag I inked the raised side of the folder, laid the tag on the ink and ran it through my cuttlebug for a fun look. I finished off the card with corduroy buttons, twine and ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Just a Note...

Happy Wednesday!
I have another card to share with you today using Reverse Confetti stamps and dies.

I used the stamps from Class Act and these dies on my card Doin' the Wave, and Class Act. The pattern papers are from my stash. I used colors from Reverse Confetti's June color challenge. I love that color combo, don't you!

Thanks for stopping by! I am off to work on my resume. I found out last week that I have to re-apply for my job and if I am not offered an interview or a job after the interview, I am no longer employed! Yikes huh?!!

Hey Sweetie!

Wow! I can not believe the last time I posted on here was the end of March! I have no excuses other than I have been enjoying spending time with my family.
This past weekend I rearranged and cleaned my craft space which had my itching to sit down and create so I did just that this past weekend! I was able to crank out several cards and will share them here with you over the next couple of weeks.

Even though I haven't made any cards for awhile I have been stalking my favorite blogs and stamp companies. One of those is Reverse Confetti and when I saw the July sketch for you to try I knew I had to give it a go. Here is the sketch...

And my take on the sketch. I did keep really close to the sketch except I did flip it on it's side ;^)

I used several Fetti Cuts on my card -

I used the Scalloped rectangle from Love Note and the Panel from Class Act to create a little pocket for the tag I made using Tag Me. I stamped a sentiment from the You make me smile stamp set.  I can not wait to get my hands on the the new Pretty Panels dies. I can picture how cute those will look as a pocket!

The sentiment on the front of the pocket is from Let's Chill stamp set and is stamped on the banner from Tag Me. I made the red mat by tracing the outside of banner on the red paper then cut it out.
All the hearts are from Love Note.

I am going to give this card to my sweetie just to remind him how much I love him.

Paper Crane Kindness

Hiya!

I think spring is on its way to Southern WI. We were in the low 50's today and I was even able to enjoy it for a little while :)

I have a card to share today follows this month's Reverse Confetti Sketch for you to try...a sketch after my own heart with all those layers!

SFYTT10_Mar14

Here is my take on the sketch...

I used the Paper Crane stamp set. I just love the sentiments that are included in the set.
I colored the crane with copics - BG00, BG53, BG57.
The pattern paper are from Fancy Pants. Don't you love the spring colors!

I did have two horizontal strips of paper like the sketch has but I did not like it and of course I had already glued them down so I covered them up with the ribbon. I always say there are no mistakes in paper crafting, only opportunities! lol!

Thank your for stopping by!

Count the Stars

Happy Tuesday evening!

I want to share a card with you that I made for the Reverse Conffeti Color Challenge. I just love these colors together!

Feb14ColorChallenge

This is what I came up with using these colors.

When I saw the Count your Rainbows stamp set, I was instantly drawn to that sentiment so of course since this was the first time I got the set inky I had to use it ;)
The numbers stamped on the stars are also included in the set.
I incorporated a few star diecuts into my layout along with a few other diecuts and threw it all together! lol! I won't tell you how many other diecuts I have sitting on my desk that didn't make the cut for the card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Reverse Confetti - Count your Rainbows
Paper: Stampin' Up, Gina K Designs

You have...

Hello!
My DH works for the utilities and they have been dealing with water main breaks and services freezing. He has been working so many hours these past few week and a lot of that time has been out in that ridiculously cold weather! I thought he might enjoy getting this 'just because' card to brighten his day.

I still had some of my Reverse Confetti stamps and dies sitting out on my desk and thought they would be perfect to use for his card.
The sentiment is from the Crushin' stamp set. The scalloped square pattern paper in the background and the hearts are from the Love Note Confetti Cuts. The arrow is another confetti cut called Arrow
Hopefully he likes it and won't mind that I used pink on the card ;)

Card Supplies:
Stamps: Reverse Confetti Crushin'
Papers: Gina K Designs, Echo Park Truly Yours
Other: Flag Stax Dienamics, Confetti Cut Dies, Spellbinders Square Dies, Black Rhinestones.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Always Believe!

Hi!
Remember me?? I can not believe it's been 2 months since I last posted! I had intended to take some time off over the holidays to recharge and spend time with my family. After being away from my craft table for a month I completely lost my mojo and felt like I forgot to color with my beloved copics...yikes!
Anywho, after a couple of weeks of struggling I gave my version of CAS a try and it's finally coming back to me!
Enough about about me and on to my card!

I have been loving the Reverse Confetti stamps for a while now and was finally able to purchase a few sets last month.
Yesterday I saw their February Sketch For You To Try and was inspired to play along!

SFYTT9_Feb14

Here is my take on the sketch -
I fell in love with crane image and sentiments from the Paper Crane stamp set. The stamped on patter paper and fussy cut out. I added just a touch of shading to the crane with copics W0.

The sentiment is also from Paper Crane and is stamped on pattern paper that I cut out using a die from Love Note.
The pattern papers are from teresa collins Now & Then paper pack.
I finished off the card with twine from Hemptique and a button from my stash.

Before I go I would like to share a couple of pictures with you. These two sweeties have been keeping me very busy!

Abbi will be 12 in a couple of months! This is her last year to be a tween and I am sure not ready for her to be a teenager! She is no longer my little girl :(
My Grandson Myles is 9 month old now and so much fun! They grow up so fast so I am trying to spend as much time as I can with them ;)

Here is a picture of him from Christmas checking out his new car buggy.

Thank you letting me share a bit of my family with you!
