What Lies Within Us

Happy Monday!
I was able to spend some time at my craft table again this weekend and made a card for the Power Poppy Peep of the week challenge.
While I was checking out the new challenge I was excited to see that my entry for the last weeks challenge was selected as Peep of the Week!!

I used the Good Thinking Renewal Stamp set! I love all of the sentiments and quotes in the set but this one by Ralph Waldo Emerson is my favorite!
I wanted the quote to be the focal point of the card so I did not add any images and kept the embellishments to the ribbons and flowers.
The pattern papers are My Minds Eye Oxford Lane.

Thanks for visiting!

Pretty in Pink

Hello!
Have you heard of Power Poppy stamps? This is a fairly new company created by Marcella Hawley and has instantly become another favorite for me!

These gorgeous flowers are from the Azalea stamp set. I colored the azalea's with copics and used Spellbinders large ovals to cut it out. The papers are some scraps from older packs of Basic Grey pattern papers. I wanted to keep the azalea's the main focus so I did not add any embellishments other than the paper doily tucked behind the image.
I need to practice photographing and editing my cards as it seems like I forgot how to do that. In real life the flowers do not look like they are glowing. lol!

I am entering my card in this weeks Peeps of the Week challenge at Power Poppy.
